Pleasure Reading

I am reading the book The Call of the Wild. Written by Jack London and published in 1903 this more modern version of the book was very interesting. The General purpose of this book was to show how a Gold prospector in the Canadian wilderness and his ideas about nature and the struggle with nature. "During the four years since his puppy hood he had lived the life a a sated aristocrat; he had a fine pride in himself, was even a trifle egotistical, as country gentlemen sometimes become because of their insular situation." This is the narrative hook because it Defines Bucks life before he is captured and dragged into the woods and the world of the Klondike.
Primitive- Little evolved from or characteristic of an earlier ancestral type
Interlace- To spin or wind together
Imperious- Having or showing arrogance
Sate- fill to satisfaction
Treachery- the act of deliberate betrayal.
This book starts out slow but so far this book is very interesting and action packed.
