Ligeia

The title of my book is Ligeia, and it is just one story in a collection of novels by Edgar Allan Poe. In this book, Ligeia, who is the wife of the narrator in this story, dies of a disease. The narrator describes Ligeia as being many different things. He describes her as being more precious than a Hebrew heirloom, or her skin resembling the purest ivory. The problem is that the narrator feels very lost without Ligeia in his life. The new character is his new wife because the narrator remarries after Ligeia dies.
