House of Usher

The house of Usher is at its end no more family members are left they all had passed on and no one is there. The place is old, beat up, in the middle of a swamp, and no one cares for it. I thought this short story was very unusual. In the story when Madeline is buried alive and then comes back to murder Roderick. When they die the house collapses and the narrator escapes.
