MS found in a bottle

The story "MS Found In a Bottle", is in my mind one of Edgar A. Poe's more peculiar stories. It follows the narrator who is a seaman as his ship is destroyed leaving him with only one option, to climb aboard a near by older ship. Once aboard the narrator sails into a whirlpool with the rest of the crew and they are killed. This is one of Poe's more far fetched stories it has a tone sullen through out. As it describes the gloomy atmosphere.
