Tell-Tale Heart

I thought this was a terrific tale by Edgar Allen Poe. The best part of this story for me was the suspense building up as the narrator slowly broke down mentally. Also the narrator's dissimulation intrigued me. "No doubt I now grew very pale, but I talked more fluently and with a heightened voice." (pg. 13) As I read through the climax of the start it made my heart slowly race. I have yet to come across a story similar to the "Tell-Tale Heart". Personally it is one of my favorite stories.
