Hop-Frog

Hop-Frog is a story of revenge and how when it all builds up the most extreme can come out. Hop-Frog's motive was the king disrespecting Tripetta, the only one who that Hop-Frog cares for. Hop-Frog gets the finally laugh in this story as he and Tripetta contrived an escape plan after his anger gets the best of him.
"I now see distinctly what matter these maskers are. They are a great king and his seven privy councilors a king who does not scruple to strike a defenseless girl and his seven councilors who abet him in outrage. As for myself, I am simply Hop-Frog, the Jester and this is my last jest." This quote in my point of view makes this story and expressed Jester's true feelings after the incident with Tripetta.
