Hop-Frog masquerade
This story was very interesting and unique. The author had to have contrived the plot for it was very clever. In this short story, the author scrutinizes of a King whom has many servants and jokers. One of his jokers is a man by the name of Hop-Frog. One day, the King forced Hop-Frog to drink wine even though he didn't want to. The King continued to force the wine upon him until Hop-Frog was driven to the point of tears. From that point Hop-Frog swore his revenge. During one of the King's masquerades in a prodigious room, Hop-Frog interrupts it. He sees that the doors are locked and he lights the King on fire. Soon there is a tumult and Hop-Frog escapes. In this story like many native American stories, the trickster got tricked.
