This story is VERY full of suspense. The constant vexing state of the main character and his psychological trouble and warfare made it very interesting and very easy to get into. He was so guilty, he hid the body itself under a scantling in the house. The suspense in the end, you can legitimately feel every single emotion he's going through. You can feel every ounce of rage, anger, deep guilt, along with every single one of his senses. You can hear and feel about everything he's going through in this entire story. He couldn't take it and the rage had built up and BOOM. He snapped and lost all mental control over himself. This story is so good, I don't think I've seen or read anything like this. The sagacity of Edgar Allan Poe is something to be truly reckoned with. This story is one of the best I've ever read and honestly, I can't see nearly anything compare.
"And now again, hark! Louder! Louder! Louder! Louder!--
'Villains, dissemble no more! I admit the deed! Tear up the planks! Here, here!. It is the beating of his hideous heart!'"
