Flu by Gina Kolata

To be honest, I'm really into the book by now, but I haven't really hit the turning point of the novel yet. Since the turning point of Flu involves science, ti's very safe to say that the turning point may have to do with finding something about the disease. This could include something that may have lead to the discovery of the cure, or something else that makes it nearly impossible to find the cure. I don't know, but I'll read and find out.
Words used in the story that I'm not familiar with are as follows:
Florid- reddish
indefatigable- unable to be tired out
neuraminidase- various enzymes, usually in viruses, the catalyse the breakdown of glucosides containing neuraminic acids.
hemagglutinin-  an antibody that causes the clumping of Red Blood cells.
adenovirus- any type of group of DNA viruses that causes eye and respiratory diseases.
