The book that I am reading is Pompeii by Robert Harris. This book is a historical fiction; writing about the events at Pompeii from a certain person's perspective. The main character's main conflict is his relationship with the team that is to help him build or repair an aqueduct, and he has to help an innocent slave from a terrible tortuous execution. the new character since i blogged last was the slave, the slaves mother, and the daughter of the villa owner who helps the mother save her son.
