Ms. Found In A Bottle

This piece of literature tells of an unknown man who was on a ship. He received an apprehension of an incoming whirlpool, however the captain did not listen. The ship began to move athwart as it began to be sucked under. The narrator and an old Swedish man survived. They were floating on peaces of the ship. Night fall came and the ocean became desolate. Soon, robust winds began blowing and another hurricane came. They saw a black ship in the distance. They went onto the black ship and no one paid attention to them. " But little time will be left me to ponder upon my destiny!" I liked this quote because it represents the way he thought about his life throughout the story.
