I agree with everything this guy is saying. i think its a bad thing to stop someone of a different race just because they think different races look threatening. its horrible that he has to worry about the cops stopping and searching him. he has to worry about this all the time that is why he has to be scared. the cops wont leave him alone.cops are supposed to make us feel safe, not nervous and scared. i have to say, after reading this I've lost all respect for all of the cops that have randomly and violently stopped him

NYPD
I thought that this was very interesting. I would looked back at the crucible before this and think to myself that it is a good thing that in the modern world this does not exist. But after reading this my mindset completely changed. In the crucible and in this story, officials judge a person before a trial, then have a trial, which at the end of the day was useless. In both this and the crucible the judges or officials judge the person before the trial even though it is illegal and immoral to do so.

Killer Angels Update
The confederate army just crossed the North-South border, the Union Army quickly received word due to the amount of spies they had waiting there. They had to do something quickly so they sent out some troops to slow them down, it was immoral of General Lee to do that because he knew they would all die. Days later and the confederate army kept marching towards the Union Army's main base. The Union Army met them at Gettysburg, PA; where the great battle would take place.

NYPD
I don’t think there is such thing as witches today. Some people will say there are for attention but I do not think there are any witches. In the witch trials in Salem, a lot of people died for being witch. I don’t know why the man was being chased around for no reason. I think it is more of a racist issue if anything because it was an offense everything on a black person.

the murder in the rue morgue
the first part of the story, dupin follows his friend's minds and guessing what he is exactly thinking. i was very impressed by this logical power. i felt his profound knowledge of myths science and of course literature. and then the mystery solving parts it was very impressing too. two women (mother and daughter) were murdered brutally in their house in the rue morgue. however, the police have difficulties finding the murderer, due to special circumstances which is the locked room.
so dupin with his special brain solves the problem and finds the murderer.
