The occupy wall street is a protest movement that began on September 17th, 2011 in New York City. they are against social and economic inequalities, greed, corruption, and the influence companies have on the government. Its goals are to stop the wall street into being above everybody else an stopping the thought that they have more power than everyone else. i believe this is an example of civil disobedience because the wall street is getting out of hand and the government is not doing anything about it. An example is in New York City they had a protest were they chanted we are the 99% and you are the 1%. this has called lots of controversy.
