This story, M.S Found in a Bottle is definitely a story that is explaining a natural calamity about the
tempest and the whirlpool that sucked the two ships into a deep
decent into the sea. When they found the bottle, it gave the men even more reason to get out of the whirlpool. My favorite quote from this story is " all in the immediate vicinity of the ship, is the blackness of eternal night, and a
chaos of foamless water; but, about a league on either side of us, may be seen, indistinctly and at intervals, stupendous ramparts of ice, toweing away into the desolate sky, and loking like the walls of the universe.
