The Fall of the House of Usher

This story, The Fall of the House of Usher, is very dark twisted tale. The "house" in this story means two things. it means the actual, physical building, and the descent of the family of Usher. The story technically means two things. The house collapses just as the family collapses. The brother buried his sister alive after he thought she died. She came back to kill her brother. The narrator (who was following them the whole time) witnessed this and as the last of the family collapsed, so did the house, and the author barely escaped with his life. This was a great tragedy story.
