Hop frog

Hop Frog is a joyful and mean story at the same time. I thought in the begining of the book the mood feels happy and joyful. I really like the twist in the middle of the book because it completely changes the mood when he relies that the king is using him and  he hurts his friend and then plans to kill the king. Hop Frog is about a king and a man that he likes to make fun of. Hop frog is the name of the man the king makes him Drink because the king thinks he is funny when he is drunk.The king is basically taking advantage of Hop Frog and making him look like a fool. When hop frogs friend tries to defend him from the king the king gets angry and pushes her and knocks her down. Hop Frog then plans to kill the king and does. My favorite quote is "As for myself, i am simply Hop-Frog the jester and this is my last jest." He really makes his point in this one quote that he said. He is saying that he is done with people taking advantage of him and making himself look like a fool and how he is done making jokes.
