Ms. Found in a Bottle

The disaster in this story is when the ship is caught in a whirlpool and is destroyed. There were only two people that survived the entire wreck. The message that was sent out in a bottle was very popular because who ever read it could get to know the writer even though they had never met each other.It seems to me that whoever wrote the letter had a very solemn thought to it. My favorite quotation in this novel is "The ship and all in it are imbued with the spirit of Eld."
